लघु कारखाना आणि वर्कशॉपसाठी पॅनेल बोर्ड देखभाल मार्गदर्शक - छ. संभाजीनगर (औरंगाबाद)

छ. संभाजीनगर (औरंगाबाद), वाळूज MIDC, चिकलठाणा आणि शेंद्रा MIDC मधील लघु कारखाना आणि वर्कशॉपसाठी एक गोष्ट जवळपास सर्वच मालकांना माहिती असते - विद्युत failure म्हणजे थेट production loss. एक तासाचा downtime म्हणजे हजारो रुपयांचे नुकसान. आणि जर पॅनेल मधून आग लागली किंवा motor जळला, तर ते नुकसान अनेक पटीने वाढते.

म्हणूनच panel board ची preventive maintenance ही एक खर्च नसून एक insurance आहे. ही guide IS 732 (wiring) आणि IS 3043 (earthing) या Indian Standards वर आधारित आहे आणि Shaats Electrical च्या engineering team ने लघु कारखाना मालकांसाठी तयार केली आहे.

पॅनेल बोर्ड देखभालीचे ५ मुख्य भाग

१. Visual Inspection - दर महिन्याला

पॅनेल बोर्ड बंद न करता बाहेरून पाहता येणारी तपासणी. कोणताही operator हे करू शकतो - फक्त सुरक्षित अंतर ठेवा.

• Panel च्या आसपास पाणी, oil, धूळ साचलेली नाही ना.
• Panel चे door व्यवस्थित बंद होते का - gasket खराब झालेले नसावे. उघडे पॅनेल हे rodents आणि कीटक आत येण्याचे प्रमुख कारण आहे.
• Indicator lights, voltmeter, ammeter चालू आहेत का.
• Panel मधून हुम (humming sound) किंवा burning smell येतो का.
• Panel चे body earthing visible आहे का आणि connection घट्ट आहे का.
• Cable entry मधून rats किंवा insects येण्याची शक्यता नाही ना - gland packing व्यवस्थित आहे का.

२. Thermal / Hot Spot तपासणी - दर तिमाहीला

हे काम certified electrician किंवा engineer कडूनच करून घ्यावे. Panel चालू असताना thermal imaging gun ने hot spots शोधले जातात.

• Bus bar joints, MCB / MCCB terminals, contactor points - हे सामान्यपणे hot होणारे ठिकाण असतात.
• Normal operating temperature आणि measured temperature मधला फरक (delta-T) 20°C पेक्षा जास्त असेल तर तातडीने attention हवे.
• Hot joint म्हणजे loose connection - power off करून tightening torque नुसार re-tighten करा.
• Discolored (काळसर) terminals आढळल्यास lugs आणि cable lugs बदला.
• Thermal scan चा report ठेवा - हा insurance आणि compliance साठी उपयुक्त असतो.

३. Tightening आणि Cleaning - दर सहा महिन्यांनी

हे काम shut-down घेऊन करावे लागते. Production planning आधीच करून घ्या.

• Main switch बंद करा, LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) करा, voltage tester ने dead असल्याची खात्री करा. हे Shaats चे SOP मधले पहिले तीन steps आहेत.
• सर्व MCB, MCCB, contactor, terminal block, bus bar चे bolts manufacturer specified torque ने tighten करा. जास्त tightening देखील नुकसानकारक आहे.
• Panel ची internal cleaning - vacuum किंवा dry cloth ने. compressed air वापरत असाल तर moisture-free असावी.
• Bus bar आणि insulator वर coal dust, oil दिसल्यास IS approved contact cleaner ने स्वच्छ करा.
• सर्व cable lugs तपासा - crimping loose नसावी, insulation melt झालेली नसावी.

४. Protection Devices - ELCB / RCCB / Overload

• प्रत्येक ELCB / RCCB चा test button दर महिन्याला दाबा - instantly trip झाला पाहिजे.
• Trip नाही झाला तर तो device replace करावा लागेल. RCCB जुना झाला की sensitivity कमी होते - हे operators ना समजत नाही, पण life-threatening आहे.
• Motor च्या overload relay चे setting nameplate FLA (Full Load Amps) नुसार आहे का. खूप जास्त set केले असेल तर motor जळतो; खूप कमी असेल तर nuisance tripping होते.
• Star-Delta starter, DOL starter चे contactor, अधिक overload relay ची तपासणी - contacts pitted किंवा burnt आहेत का.
• Timer, phase failure relay, voltage protection relay - सर्व settings nameplate शी matching आहेत का.

५. Earthing - IS 3043 नुसार

लघु कारखान्यात earthing हा सर्वात दुर्लक्षित पण सर्वात महत्त्वाचा भाग आहे. एक खराब earth pit म्हणजे प्रत्येक machine च्या body वर electric shock चा धोका.

• Industrial setup साठी earth pit resistance 1 ohm पेक्षा कमी असावी (IS 3043 शिफारस). Earth-resistance tester ने measure करा.
• Earth pit मध्ये salt आणि charcoal ची layering vेळेवर refill करावी लागते - विशेषतः उन्हाळ्यापूर्वी.
• Earth pit ला पाण्याने भिजवणे - soil moisture earthing साठी essential आहे.
• Equipment body (motor, machine frame, panel) पासून earth bus पर्यंत earth continuity आहे का - multimeter ने तपासा.
• Lightning arrester जर बसवलेला असेल तर त्याचा separate earth pit आहे ना - हे control panel च्या earth शी कधीच common करू नये.

Motor Connections आणि Three-Phase Balancing

Motor हे लघु कारखान्यातील सर्वात महाग equipment असते. एक जळालेला induction motor दुरुस्त करण्याचा खर्च कधी कधी नवीन motor च्या जवळपास येतो.

• Three phases मधला current imbalance 5% पेक्षा कमी असावा. जास्त असेल तर motor च्या winding ला heat damage होते.
• Voltage imbalance देखील 2-3% पेक्षा कमी ठेवा. Imbalance ने motor torque कमी होतो आणि vibration वाढते.
• Motor च्या body चे temperature नियमित तपासा - touch करून जर 5 sec पेक्षा जास्त हात ठेवता आला नाही, तर overheating आहे.
• Motor body आणि panel body मध्ये continuity आहे का - कारण body earth fault हे sudden shock cause करते.
• Cooling fan, vent, fins वर dust नसावी. Motor cooling impair झाली की insulation life कमी होते.

Cable आणि Wiring तपासणी

• Cable च्या insulation वर cuts, cracks, melting नाही ना - विशेषतः जिथे cable hot surface जवळून जातो.
• Cable tray मध्ये overloading नसावी - IS नुसार cables एकमेकांवर न ठेवता spaced असाव्यात.
• Open wiring (joint box न वापरता) टाळा. प्रत्येक joint एक potential failure point आहे.
• Flexible cable (machine ला portable supply देणारा) चा outer sheath तपासा - हा सर्वात आधी खराब होतो.

देखभालीचा वेळापत्रक (Recommended Schedule)

• दर महिन्याला: Visual inspection, RCCB / ELCB test button, indicator lights, panel temperature, vibration check.
• दर तिमाहीला: Thermal scan, current imbalance measurement, earth-resistance reading, motor temperature.
• दर सहा महिन्यांनी: Full shut-down maintenance - tightening, cleaning, contactor inspection, cable lug check.
• दर वर्षी: Insulation resistance (megger) test, complete protection settings audit, lightning arrester test, inspection report compilation.
