Terms & Conditions

Effective 10 May 2026

These terms govern any electrical service you book from Shaats Electrical. By calling, messaging, or scheduling a visit, you agree to these terms.

Plain-English summary: The ₹199 visit charge is non-refundable but is adjusted in the final bill if you proceed with the work. We give a clear quotation before starting any chargeable work. We stand by our workmanship for 30 days. Materials carry only the manufacturer's warranty.

1. Who these terms apply to

Shaats Electrical”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to the electrical-services vertical operated by Shaats Private Limited from Shahgunj, Chh. Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra 431001.

“You” refers to the customer who books a service — whether by call, WhatsApp, or any other channel.

2. Booking & visit charge

  • A flat 199 visit & inspection charge applies to every technician visit. This covers travel, on-site inspection, and a written/verbal quotation.
  • The visit charge is not refundable. It is a service fee for the technician's time.
  • If you accept the quotation and we proceed with the work, the ₹199 is fully adjusted into the final bill.
  • Time slots are best-effort. We will notify you in advance if unavoidable delays occur.

3. Quotations

We will share an itemised quotation before starting any chargeable work. The quotation includes labour, material, and any applicable taxes. Work begins only after you confirm.

Hidden defects discovered after the quotation (e.g. damaged concealed wiring) may require a revised estimate. We will pause and confirm with you before continuing.

4. Materials & parts

  • You may choose to buy parts yourself. We will guide you on the right specifications. We are not responsible for quality issues with customer-supplied parts.
  • When we supply parts, the manufacturer's warranty (if any) applies. We assist with manufacturer warranty claims but do not extend warranty independently on those goods.
  • Replaced / faulty parts removed during repair remain your property unless you direct us to dispose of them.

5. Workmanship warranty

We warrant that our installation and repair workmanship will be free from defects for 30 days from completion. Within this period, if a job we performed fails due to faulty installation, we will return and re-perform the work at no additional labour cost. This warranty does not cover:

  • Failure of the underlying material or parts
  • Damage caused by power surges, lightning, flooding, or pests
  • Tampering or rework by anyone other than Shaats Electrical
  • Wear, ageing, or normal end-of-life of components

6. Payment

  • Payment is due on completion, unless agreed otherwise in writing for larger projects.
  • Accepted modes: UPI, bank transfer, cash. Receipt is provided.
  • For projects above an agreed threshold, an advance against materials may be required.

7. Cancellations & rescheduling

  • You can cancel or reschedule a booking any time before the technician departs. A second visit will incur another ₹199 visit charge.
  • If our technician is unable to reach the address due to incorrect location or unavailability, the visit charge is still due.

8. Safety & access

For safety reasons, you agree to:

  • Provide reasonable access to the work area and meter / DB room
  • Keep children, pets, and bystanders at a safe distance during live work
  • Disclose any known hazards (gas leaks, water damage, asbestos, previous shocks)

Our technician may decline to begin or continue work if conditions are unsafe. The visit charge remains due in such cases.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shaats Electrical's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (such as loss of business, food spoilage, or third-party damage) except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control — including natural disasters, government action, civic strikes, power-grid failures, or pandemics.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from a service or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The version on this page at the time you book your service is the version that applies to that booking.
